Reefmaster Underwater Digital Camera - Review

So why in the world would you want to own a Reefmaster Underwater Digital camera? Well, have you ever been snorkeling or scuba diving? It is such a shame that you can see such beautiful things, but yet you are not able to capture them and take them home with you. Well, with a reefmaster underwater digital camera you will be able to take a picture and save it for as long as you want, but why a reefmaster.

Simply put the Reefmaster digital camera brand carries a great tradition and has always produced great underwater cameras. They have now created an underwater camera that has "shark mode". No this is not to protect you from the sharks. This is a mode that is used to catch even the fasted creatures on camera. It will help you take photos of very fast moving objects without all that blur that you would normally end up with.

The best part about the reefmaster digital cameras is that they also work on land. They are a dual camera that can take great pictures on land and up to 200 feet deep in the water. They are also equipped with military shock proof sensors that keep you safe. These sensors make it impossible to damage these great underwater digital cameras. You can literally drop it, drag it, kick it, or dive with it and never have to worry about damaging it.

The top underwater cameras are made by SeaLife and are called "Reefmaster Underwater Digital Cameras". These cameras all carry great warranties, have loads of pixels, are waterproof up to 200 feet, take sharp images underwater and on land, and some of them are even equipped to handle video and audio underwater. These are the preferred camera of all marine biologists and many underwater fanatics love the reefmaster underwater digital cameras.

There is no comparison to the camera that is equipped to do everything. The Sealife Reefmaster underwater digital cameras are the top of the line for underwater cameras and are the only choice out there. I have been using mine for the better part of 8 months now and I will never switch to another brand. They are light weight, easy to swim with, great for both water and land, and they take incredible photos. The Reefmaster Underwater Digital Camera is the only way to go.

Underwater Digital Camera Review: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3

Fresh out the technology gate, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 is already turning heads and raising eyebrows, not to mention flying off the shelves. The third generation of the TS series, the camera itself is designed for the active lifestyle (or maybe just the careless college kid) and has more features than can fit on the box.

First and foremost, the Lumix TS3 is an underwater camera. There are a lot of cameras out there for the more active, outdoors crowd - but they aren't meant for under water. The Lumix TS3 is a waterproof digital camera up to 40 feet, making it great for snorkeling and boat trips, but not for diving. The underwater digital functionality of the Lumix TS3 is one of four main selling points for the rugged camera. Additionally, the TS3 is a shockproof camera up to 6.6 feet, according to the MIL-STD 810F Method 516.5-Shock test standard. Essentially that just means the camera is internally prepared to withstand a fall from a moderate distance. It still gets dings and the lens is capable of scratches, but the vital components of the camera are safe.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 is also a dustproof digital camera to the IP6X standard, meaning the finer particles of dust stay out of the chassis of the camera during hikes, sports, and beach trips (though leaving it in the sand still isn't a smart idea). The fourth major feature of the camera's durability is its ability to withstand cold temperatures: the Lumix TS3 is a freeze-proof digital camera down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit, a normal temperature for activities like skiing.

The GPS function on the shockproof digital camera shouldn't be confused with a common location-finding feature. Rather, it's more for geo-tagging the exact location of where the photo was taken. The GPS initially takes a while once booted up, so it's not something to do in a hurry. But it is fully functional (particularly in open areas) along with the compass, altimeter, and barometer. And not a common feature found on an underwater digital camera.

But regardless of ruggedness, the most important part of a camera should always be the picture quality. With some setting adjustments, the 12.1 megapixel underwater digital camera with a LEICA DC 28mm wide-angle lens takes wonderful outdoor pictures and fantastic 1920 x 1080 AVCHD video. But there are distinct drawbacks.

The flash is either on or off, and that leads to extremely flash-washed pictures in low-light situations. The IAuto mode and Active Outdoor Scene modes lend greater functionality to the generally abysmal point-and-shoot automatic modes, though the best decision is to always find the proper settings manually. The IAuto mode is geared towards outdoors shots, so it can lead to grainy photos otherwise, thanks to the high isolation and fast shutter speeds. That being said, the fast-motion action pictures with this waterproof digital camera are exceptional to anything else in the market, thanks in part to the high-speed CCD sensor and Venus Engine FHD.

The 3D photo mode feels like more of a gimmick and less of a practical feature, though it is available for a user with time to take the 20 panning shots necessary - and the VIERA 3D television at home to view it on. The Lumix TS3 does offer some incredible shutter speed options for night shots - up to a 60-second exposure - that are rare for regular point-and-shoots, much less an underwater digital camera. The 2.7-inchd LCD screen minimizes glare but still doesn't do the pictures justice. The best results always come after being cleaned up a little on the computer, though the white balance, auto-focus features, and other quick adjustments made available on this underwater digital camera do allow for the user to take great pictures pre-final adjustments.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 is the top in its class for a handheld camera. But it's also in a rare class. It's an underwater camera, a shockproof camera, a dustproof camera, and a freezeproof camera. And after all that, it's still a great digital camera - for the right lifestyle. The versatility of the camera does lead to some sacrifices when it comes to basic indoor shooting, but the overall quality, durability, and feature-list of the Lumix DMC-TS3 makes it the best choice for an active owner.

HD Cell Phone Hidden Camera Review - World's Most Advanced Spy Camera

Summary:

If you're in the market for a spy camera or a hidden camera, then chances are you are looking for something that is small, covert, and will deliver high quality video. Another added bonus is if the camera has a bunch of options that you can configure so you can have complete control over how your video is recorded. The HD Cell Phone camera delivers all of these features and many more.

Overview:

The first thing you'll notice about this cell phone hidden camera is that it's probably the most covert (i.e. hidden) type of spy camera that you can find. Why is this? Because it looks just like an ordinary cell phone! No one would suspect that inside this ordinary looking cell phone is a high-definition hidden camera. The hidden camera is actually a DVR, meaning that it records video directly inside the device to a removable SD card, making it an all-in-one solution, with no extra wires, cables, or external cameras needed.

Like every cell phone, there is an LCD screen on this ordinary looking "cell phone". But what makes the LCD screen is great is that it actually allows you to preview the video you are going to record, and play back the video files themselves right on the device. No need to plug it into a TV or PC (which you can do if you want though). You can even switch the LCD screen into "Spy Mode" - which means you can either make the screen completely blank when you record, or you can make it look like a cell phone screen with fake signal strength and battery life indicator bars, and even show the time and date!

Most Popular Features:

High Definition Recording - Record at amazing 720p resolution for crystal clear color video
Professional Grade Design - High Quality construction for long-life durability
Time/Date/Frame Counter Stamp - You can toggle the time/date and frame counter stamp so you can use these video for evidence for private investigators or law enforcement
Motion-Activated Recording - Set the camera up and record only when there's activity
Low-Light CCD Camera Lens - So your video looks great even when there is low light available

Conclusion:

There are a ton of features packed into this miniature spy camera, so if you are looking for a device that can do it all, the Cell Phone Hidden Camera is the device for you. You can even plug in external cameras and use this DVR as a portable wearable DVR (for example with a button camera). The high quality construction combined with the features make this hidden spy camera a top seller.

Waterproof Digital Camera Canon D10 Honest Review

Hearing so many great information about Canon D10, I was immediately convinced to purchase one for me. I normally go mountain climbing on weekends and need a reliable camera that would stand on changing weathers that is common on mountains. When I read on one of the reviews that it can take crisp photos on different weathers, I did not hesitate to get one. Looking at its photos online, the Canon D10 looks handy enough for any adventure and the price is ideal for a good quality camera from Canon.

As a Canon user, I'm pretty satisfied with its quality. After deciding to get a D10 for me, I immediately rushed to a local store near my place and bought one. It even comes with many accessories like the shoulder, neck and carabineer straps. I was also really happy that Canon D10 has a waterproof feature. After purchasing, I can't wait to try it. So when I got home, I came rush to unboxed it and was impressed of its sporty form. I say it is sporty because true to one of the Canon Powershot D10 review that I have read, it is bulky to be called as fashionable.

To prove the quality of this digital camera, I can't wait till weekends. The Canon Powershot D10 review that I have read is true. I got crisp and bright photos with less noise even on higher ISO just like any other Canon camera does. When you are a user of Canon camera, the features are in tacked in this model plus the shock proof and waterproof feature. Now that I have the Canon Powershot D10, I will never have to get worried of the mountains changing weather and will again worried if I drop my camera due to a mountain's uneven grounds. The lens can be uncovered but it has a scratchproof glass shield, so the missing lens cap is no big deal.

I also tried to take photos underwater and it really works. At first, I was skeptical, afraid of it being ruined by the water, but finally I was brave enough to try it. The pictures are bright despite of it being taken underwater, and the colors are very realistic.

When you are just new in using a Canon camera, you will not be having a hard time taking beautiful photos with its numerous scene modes that you can easily set to take photos for the right scene. These scene modes include night exposure, panorama, programmable mode, portrait, sunset, beach, fireworks, aquarium, underwater, snow, indoor, kids and pets, foliage, long shutter, color accent, and color swap. The auto mode is also present wherein the camera will automatically detect your current condition. Canon digital camera also has a feature that will allow you to take photos just an inch or two from the subject and still look perfectly fine.. Overall, I love my new Canon Powershot D10 Compact Digital Camera.

The camera delivers Digital ESP, Spot and Face Detection AE metering functions with Black & White and Sepia color effects. Intelligent Auto is particularly useful while the 19 scene modes offer plenty of shot options including underwater options and in-camera Panorama.

Performance-wise, average shutter lag in bright conditions is a slow 0.7 second and 0.8 second in low light. Continuous shooting speed is good at 1.1 frames per second but shot-to-shot times of 2.5 seconds without flash and 5 seconds with it is rather long. A start-up to shot time of 1.8 seconds is quite fast. Photos were good with natural colors and at lower ISOs.

All in all the Olympus Stylus Tough-8000 is an excellent camera if you're doing something rugged outdoors, above sea level, in a cave or underwater. While a bit slow, its impressive toughness more than make up for it.

Canon Digital IXUS 95 IS Digital Camera in Silver - Compact Camera Review

Being a DSLR camera user you may be wondering why I also use many point and shoot camera systems. The simple reason is that even though my DSLR camera is amazing it can be heavy especially with all the different lenses I use and flash guns and other accessories also add to the weight issues, on top of that someplace won't even allow a DSLR camera and for this reason I bring along a point and shoot camera which is also known as a compact camera or digital camera.

I got my hands recently on the Canon Digital IXUS 95 IS digital camera in silver and was quite impressed with it. The Canon IXUS 95 is has a 10MP count and has an optical zoom of 3 times.

When I first started using the camera I found that the image quality was excellent but the colours looked a little dull and completely ruined the photos that I had taken, however I soon realised that this was my fault and when I began to look at the settings on the camera I soon got the camera to take the images that I wanted. Simply changing a few of the settings allowed me to make the colours completely pop out creating an excellent image.

If you are thinking of getting the IXUS 95 then I would recommend you putting the shooting mode on "program" setting the ISO to 100 or even 80 and then setting the colour mode to vivid and set to single shot mode, this will allow quicker focusing and sharper images.

Another added extra with this camera is the ability to put the grid mode on the back of the large LCD screen, not only will this allow you to take straight photos but it will also let you improve on your composition skills.

The camera also has built in image stabilisation which is found on more expensive DSLR cameras, this allows you to take photos without any camera shake which can be caused by cold hands or bad nerves.

The Canon IXUS 95 also has the ability to record video and it does it fairly well; however in dark conditions you will notice the video to be a bit grainy, however I would be surprised if you could find a camera for this price which doesn't have this problem. If your main reason for purchasing this camera is to record video I wouldn't buy this camera and I would try something else, however if you want to take cool photos with vibrant colours then the Canon digital IXUS 95 IS camera is a good choice.

Sony DSC-HX5V Digital Camera Review

Sony DSC-HX5V is a digital camera that is ahead of the rest. It has ultra zoom qualities, and yet its design is compact and manageable. The camera has CMOS sensors that are back illuminated. These features help in the improvement in the Sony DSC-HX5V 's lighting. The DSC-HX5V is also very fast when it comes to continuous capturing of shots.

Other features that can be found in the camera include the built in GPS and a sweep panorama feature that has unique abilities. Sony DSC-HX5V has 1080 HD movie recording feature. It has a 10x 'G' zoom lens that is 25 to 250 mm. This DSC-HX5V camera has stabilization features that allow it to produce clear images even in the presence of a lot of movement. The LCD monitor is three inches and its manual controls are restricted. You can opt to use external memory to store your photos.

The Sony DSC-HX5V is facing tough competition from other models. If you do not need the GPS receiver, then there are other models that can provide equal service to you. It is important to note that there is a DSC-HX5V in the market. It defers from the DSC-HX5V in that it does not have the GPS feature.

The Sony DSC-HX5V comes with inbuilt memory. This is different from prior models that opted to include memory cards in the package. Its storage capacity is 45MB; it allows you to store up to nine photos of superior quality. This amount of storage is not really sufficient for everyday use so you need to consider additional storage space. If you can afford a high speed card, then it will be in your best interest.

When you try using the flash to capture moments, they become all washed out. It is therefore very hard to try and duplicate the exact emotion into a photo. The Sony DSC-HX5V CMOS sensor has made it possible by improving on sensitivity by up to 2 xs. This ensures that the noise is reduced.

When you are using the sweep panorama technology, you will be impressed by its advancement. It makes it possible for you to cover expansive areas at once. All you need to do is cover the area you need to shoot in a single sweep and then press the shutter. The Sony DSC-HX5V digital camera will automatically fit the scene into one photo. This technology is so good that it can pick out those features that can cause deformation.

The Best Digital Camera Binoculars For 2010

Digital camera binoculars are a godsend for any bird watcher who has ever spotted a rare bird, only to have it fly away by the time the camera was zoomed in properly. Since these devices function as both a high powered pair of binoculars, once you are zoomed in on your target you can snap pictures until your heart is content. Here are the top five models for 2010.

The Bushnell Compact 8x30 Instant Replay 11-8325 offers a lot of bang for your buck with a 5 mega-pixel camera and the ability to take video with instant replay. The six times digital zoom will help you get right up close with your target no matter how far away you are and with the ability to take three picture burst shots on the fly, you will never miss the perfect opportunity. This model of Bushnell retails for $299, which is not bad for all of the features.

If you are looking for something a little more cost effective, the Bushnell Image View 8x30 Roof Prism Binoculars are probably your next best choice, as they have a decent 3.2 mega-pixel camera and can fit very nicely into your pocket. With 16MBs of internal memory and an SD slot, you can save all manner of pictures and view them later with the flip top LCD screen. The Bushnell Image View 8x30 Roof Prism Binocular retails for $222.

For a middle ground between the two pairs above, the Barska Point N' View 8x32 4.0 MP Digital Camera Binoculars are a great choice, sitting at a comfortable $204 and offering a 4 mega-pixel camera with a four times digital zoom. While these don't zoom as well as the Instant Replay Bushnell model, you will get better camera performance for a better price.

The Barska Point N' View 8x22 0.3 MP VGA Digital Camera Binoculars are the little brother to the first Barska model and offer slightly fewer features for about fifty dollars cheaper. The camera is only 3 mega-pixels and the screen is a VGA display instead of LCD, but it is an overall great starter set of binoculars.

The Galileo 8x22 with 2.1 MegaPixel Digital Camera Binocular is a true starter model, retailing at around $70. It will not break the bank, and the 2.1 mega-pixel camera has less features that what you would find on higher quality models, but it will get the job done and introduce you to the world of digital camera binoculars. The Galileo has the most rugged construction of all five models and its made to take a beating, which is a welcome trade off for the rough traveler.

All of these models are designed with the digital photographer in mind, with external SD slots for expansive storage. This means you can take as many pictures as you have an SD card to hold, with great quality and you will not have to worry about losing your subject in the process of scrambling for your old digital camera. If you start out with a basic model, you will more than likely love it enough to upgrade to a more feature rich model soon enough.

SVP Digital Camera Reviews

The SVP digital camera reviews are not favorable, but the cameras do look and sound appealing. The reviews are always a good way to see if the camera is something that you might want to buy. You can use the reviews to see what the specs are for the camera and if any user has offered a review for pros and cons of the camera. Unfortunately, you might have a few problems finding good reviews or positive reviews for the SVP line of cameras. You need to be very careful when looking at this particular make of camera.
